Indore: Pension payment order and age limit have come as major hindrances for the health department’s decision to recruit retired doctors in primary health centres in city.Until now, five walk-in interviews have been conducted and 18 applicants appeared for it. According to selection rules, a candidate has to be under age group of 65-67 years, while they should also have pension payment order to apply for the post. But, no retired doctor has been selected as seven of the applicants were above 67 years of age, while remaining did not have pension payment order.“We are unable to get doctors under 67 years of age. Five weeks have passed, but we have not come across any doctor, who is able to fulfil all the conditions.
