Indore: The gateway to post graduate courses in IITs, NITs was opened for top rankers of city on Friday, when IIT-Madras declared results of Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering ( GATE ) 2019.Many students from city achieved ranks within 50 and within 100, in various branches. Students who clear GATE get admissions in IITs, NITs in ME and M Tech courses. Conducted in 23 streams, thousands of students from city took part in the technical examination. The highest rank in Indore - AIR 8 in textiles branch - was secured by Sagar Choudhary, a student of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya.In other streams, Mudra Sahu secured AIR-13 in computer science branch, whereas Hemang Jain secured AIR-17 also in CS branch..
