Indore: Smart Industrial Park — the unique selling proposition (USP) of industry department — is likely to be equipped with all basic infrastructure and be ready for industries by May. Other major units that have proposed to set up facilities in the park are Jamna Auto Industries, Rusoma Laboratories Pvt Ltd, Harita Industries and Raajratna Metal Industries. In first phase of land allotment to industries, department is banking on automobile industries to come up because of National Automotive Test Tracks and industrial container depot in the region.Top industries that have bought land in the park are WABCO, Trident Group, Shriram Pistons & Rings among others. Another official from the department said, 10 electric poles will be installed in the park in a fortnight and with this, work of electric connection will get complete.According to department, 6 to 7 industrial units are likely to start construction in next financial year once development work is over.
