INDORE: Over hundred trees located between Main Road-10 and Khajrana are likely to be shifted or chopped for proposed Metro rail line project. Indore Metro Rail Corporation Limited has sought permission from Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) and also sought its assistance in shifting and chopping trees that are coming in way of the project.Metro Rail project’s general manager Shobha Khanna said that permission has been sought for all trees that are coming in way of construction work. We would also monitor and assist them in this work to ensure minimum impact on green cover,” he added. “We would grant permission on basis of survey report.
