Jaipur: After the revival of southwest monsoon in the state on Tuesday, majority of the places in the eastern Rajasthan got heavy to very heavy rainfall on Thursday. Early morning showers started at 5 am in the morning and it lasted for almost two hours in different intensity. Majority of the city roads were waterlogged due to which some of the city schools declared a holiday, while many schools operated. Jaipurites also witnessed a major drop in its minimum temperature of 25.4 degrees, almost one degree below the normal notch was recorded in the city.
