Girls’ groups clash over washrooms in hostel, 1 hurt

JAISALMER: Two groups of girls at a government girls’ hostel in Nachana in Jaisalmer district fought and beat each other up over lack of washrooms in the hostel on Saturday. She also alleged that due her absence clerk takes food from hostel to principal and also levelled other allegations against him. As per information from eyewitneses Sarda girls hostel has around 83 girls of class 9-12.The hostel has capacity of 100 girls.on Friday the water got finished and warden rajbala requested principal Chandan Solanki to send a water tanker, but tanker did not arrive and situation deteriorated on saturday. Even breakfast was not cooked.Rajbala said she had asked principal to send water tanker on Friday and she spoke to tanker driver who told that principal had directed not to take water to hostel. She had told principal to remove those girls but they have not been removed..
