Three killed, three hurt as car, Bolero collide in Kota

KOTA: Three persons including car driver and grandfather-grandson duo were killed late on Tuesday evening and three others of the family including two women sustained injuries in the collision between the car they were travelling by and a Bolero, near Khand village under Deoli-Manji police station of Kota district . Three of the family, identified as Dr Ashish Sharma, his mother Savitri Sharma and wife Priyanka Sharma sustained injuries and were admitted to a private hospital in Kota where they are undergoing treatment. "The deceased were identified as Suresh Sharma, 62, his 10-month-old grandson Tanshu and car driver Deepak Sharma, 27, all residents of Kota city," SHO at Deoli-Manji police station Amar Nath said. The six were rushed to hospital in Kota after the mishap where the doctors declared the three dead. The family of six from Kota was returning after darshan at Sati Mata temple in Sangod area.The three bodies were handed over to the family after postmortem and investigation into the matter is underway with a case of negligent driving against the SUV driver who fled from the spot after the mishap..
