JAIPUR: Hitting out at senior Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad for accusing BJP of politicizing Ram Mandir issue, BJP election in-charge Prakash Javadekar said that Ram temple is not a poll plank for the BJP.“The temple debate has been on for the past 500 years, even before the concept of polls was introduced. The remark make by Azad in Jaipur is to rake up the issue,” Javadekar.He asked Congress to clear its stand on the construction of the Ram temple. He recalled how Congress leaders are making attempts to politicize temple issue. “Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s remark that good Hindus would never want a temple on a place where a disputed site was demolished is an attempt to divide Hindus,” said Javadekar. He also said, “On a given day, Azad becomes a leader of one community while on the other day he tries to become a Shiv bhakt.”.
