Minutes after sending his resignation to the party president, Madan Lal Saini, Ahuja said for safeguarding Hindutva and cows he has made his mind to field himself as an independent candidate.His tenure as MLA has been controversial. Be it his remark on the number of condoms at Jawahar Lal Nehru University or his open support to the cow vigilantes involved in lynching incidents, Ahuja has never bothered about his growing fundamentalist image.
