Jaipur: An alert was sounded in the city when two youths on a bike looted Rs 70,000 in total, from two persons in Malviya Nagar and Bajaj Nagar on Tuesday late evening.The first incident was reported in Malviya Nagar area where a complainant alleged that some youth took away Rs 10,000 from him near Apex Circle area.“The victim was an attendant of a patient undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. He alleged that two youths on a bike engaged him in some heated talk while one fled with the money,” an official said.The complainant realised that his money was stolen when he parked his bike near Apex Circle and rummaged his pockets and found that his cash was missing.In a similar incident in Bajaj Nagar, one person alleged that unidentified youths took away Rs 60,000 from him. The police suspect that both loots were handiwork of the same gang.“The modus operandi is same because in both the cases, the boke-borne youths tricked their victims into some tiff and decamped with the cash,” an officials said.Both the Malviya Nagar and Bajaj Nagar police were scanning CCTV footage to track down the suspects involved in the case.“We are trying to identify the suspects with the help of their vehicle registration number..
