JAIPUR: Following a prolonged investigation after taking up the case in 2017, the special operations group ( SOG ) wing of Rajasthan police has busted a gang that conned people on the pretext of selling them fake insurance policies. Thereafter, they used to claim that the policy would be matured soon and used to send fake policy papers by taking money from policy owners. The conmen also claimed that the commission insurance agent is enjoying would be directly sent into his account. After getting the processing fees, they used to send fake policy,” Blaggan added.“We have arrested 3 persons and it was found that the accused based in Rohini, New Delhi used to get details from various insurance agencies. These conmen used to claim that they are selling insurance policy and when people used to subscribe to their ideas and purchase these policies, they were cheated as despite paying premium they never got authentic insurance policy.According to SOG officials, Ajmer police was investigating the case in 2017..
