The current position of Bisalpur dam is 308.16 metre which is enough till August, 2019 but if rainfall remains scarce this year as well, the state will face a drought-like situation. New pipelines have already been sanctioned by PHED to the areas of Prithiviraj Nagar, Kho Nagoriyan, Jaamdoli and Amber. PHED has already sanctioned 400 tube-wells and new pipelines in the city and the sanctions have already been granted.
