Jaipur: The first fortnight of March so far has been coldest in 10 years. However, this year so far the average maximum temperature in the first fortnight was nearly 30 degrees Celsius. Earlier in the morning a minimum temperature of 16.9 degrees Celsius was recorded. Though in March, the maximum temperatures are on and above 35 degrees Celsius on an average in the state, however, this year so far the maximum temperatures were below average.
