Jaipur: The customs department had major success in two separate seizures at the Jaipur International Airport in the form of foreign currency amounting to Rs 48 lakh being exported to Thailand . Since the beginning of the year, customs department has caught half a dozen individuals trying get gold in the country illegally. Everything including sandals, iron, fountain pen and even human rectum are being used by smugglers to conceal gold in various forms, to smuggle into India. Many of them carried the gold in their rectums.In 2015 and 2016, there was a sudden rise in the smuggling cases, in which Jaipur airport was used as a transit route to smuggle gold into India. On being questioned about the money, the two could not give a satisfactory reason behind carrying this big amount..
