Pvt. Choppers used to destroy swarns of locusts in Jaisalmer

The locusts control department and agriculture department  used private choppers on Sunday to destroy swarns of yellow locusts.

The administration used private choppers, sprayer and drone to destroy the locusts entering Jaisalmer from Longewala.

Jaisalmer collector Ashish Modi said the operation to destroy locusts was launched on Saturday in Jaisalmer city and other areas.

The locusts control department and agriculture department are conducting a survey to get the information of locusts crossing the border.

There was information on Sundayabout huge swarms of locusts in Pokharan and Lathi arean in Jaisalmer.
