70% men are COVID prone in Rajasthan: Survey

Till July 6, the percentage of men dying of COVID-19 was 66, which has increased to 71% from July to November (till 17th), while the percentage of women’s death reduced from 34 to 28.6.

According to the health department report, 300 men had died till July 6 and from July 6 to November 17, as many as 1168 men had died.

A total of 1,468 men have died of COVID-19, while 621 women have died.

Till July 6, 153 women died and from July 6 to November 17, 468 more women died of COVID-19.

Overall, 70% of men, while 30% of women have died of COVID-19 in the state.

Besides, the percentage of deaths in rural Rajasthan has increased, while the percentage of deaths in urban areas has gone down since July 6.

Before July 6, the percentage of COVID-19 deaths in rural areas was 17, which has increased to 30% from July 6 till November 17.
