Jaipur's first desert park will reopen soon

Jaipur development commissioner Gaurav Goyal said, “The expression of interest (EOI) to appoint a firm for operations and maintenance will be invited soon.

The park will be opened once the Covid restrictions are lifted.”

The park falls in the Vidhyadhar Nagar region, which is nearly 15 km away from the main city.

The area is all set to get a new landmark, officials believe that this will be an added feature in the city’s eco-tourism.

An official said, “Thousands of tourists visit Rajasthan every year.

Due to paucity of time, many fail to visit desert areas.

They could experience the desert in the close vicinity of the state capital.
