Jaipur: North Western Railways (NWR) Cancels 40 Passenger Trains Running From Rajasthan

Many states including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Delhi have imposed lockdown due to the massive surge in Covid-19 cases.

The Covid-19 situation has now started to pause the wheels of Indian railway trains as well.

In many states including Rajasthan, trains are being cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

According to the information received, a total of 40 trains in Rajasthan have been cancelled due to the low turnout in these trains.

According to information received from Lt Shashi Kiran, Deputy General Manager, Chief Public Relations Officer, North Western Railway, there has been a huge reduction in the number of rail passengers in Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana and other neighbouring states including Punjab due to the Corona epidemic.

Therefore, the North Western Railway has cancelled 40 trains (from the starting station) till further orders.

According to the information received, 26 of the trains connected with the state have been cancelled.
