Rajasthan farmers get back their agricultural lands stuck between Indo-Pak border wiring and zero point

The farmers of Barmer in the state were waiting for this for a long time.

The Border Security Force (BSF) has started its preparations for this.

After 28 years, farmers here will be able to cultivate their fields again.

Thousand of farmers will now be able to get back lakhs of bighas of land trapped between India-Pakistan border wiring and zero point.

The High Court had said in a decision in the year 2013 that either compensation should be given or farming should be allowed.

Now the Border Security Force has given the right to do farming to the farmers.

BSF has given exemptions to farmers for cultivation on their land, new gates will be installed by BSF.
