Ram Karan, along with officials of the district administration visited Khatkarh Kalan Memorial and paid tributes to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh yesterday evening. Later, the team inspected rain water harvesting structure at the park near the ancestral home of Shaheed –e-Azam Bhagat Singh. District Forest Officer Satinder Singh while apprising the team of ongoing plantation drive said under the drive as many as 2,56,300 saplings would be planted. Ram Karan explained the purpose of Jal Shakti Abhiyan and sensitised the sarpanches and those who were present at the meeting to adopt the best practices in irrigation and water conservation..
