Mandeep bags sports award

Having started competing in athletics from the eighth standard onwards, Mandeep Kaur has participated in several international tournaments. Mandeep won the silver medal in the South Asian Games; bronze medal in the Asian Grand Prix at Thailand; as well as in Vietnam; silver medal in the European Meet at England; and a gold in the Senior National Championship in 4x100 category. While talking to The Tribune, she said: “I have been fortunate that I am backed by my parents and my in-laws in my pursuit for sports. Lately, Mandeep was honoured by the Shere Punjaba Sports Club, headed by the panchayat of the Dayalpur village, in Kartarpur for her achievements in the field of sports..
