On the occasion, the Health Department showcased tableaux of the Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Yojna and the De-Addiction Centre with the Ayushman tableau bagging the third position. DC Kapurthala Devinderpal Kharbanda distributed the awards. Officiating Civil Surgeon Rajesh Bagga, Deputy Medical Commissioner Sarika Duggal, District Immunisation Officer Asha Mangat, District Health Officer Kuljit Singh and ADC Avtar Singh Bhullar were among those others present. The MLA and the DC said all entry points, prominent chowks, roads and throughfares of the district would be made more beautiful with plants, trees, lights, etc..
