Tribune News ServiceSultanpur Lodhi, August 17Union Food Processing Industries Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal today mooted a proposal to paint Sultanpur Lodhi white on the occasion of the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev and said she would seek the help of the Sikh sangat to make this possible. The minister reviewed the ongoing works, including three underbridges and two foot overbridges, besides the work being done to give a complete heritage facelift to the Sultanpur Lodhi railway station. She said the NDA government was committed to create all necessary infrastructure, including a facilitation centre, to ensure smooth and efficient ‘darshan’ of Kartarpur Sahib for all pilgrims. The minister said a chair on the name of Guru Nanak would be set up at the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute.
