The village has won the award for its outstanding work in terms of agricultural production as well as conservation of natural resources. Informing this, the PAU, Director of Extension Education, Jaskaran Singh Mahal, said: “Todarpur has established its identity as a forward-looking village. Farm literature was also distributed in the village for providing technical information to the farmers. Similarly, different methods were used for the management of paddy straw for 50 per cent area, paddy was ploughed in the fields in 31 per cent area and straw under six per cent area was used by milk producers for grazing cattle..
