Our CorrespondentPhillaur, December 6Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner (DC) Varinder Kumar Sharma today asked the Local Government Department to expedite the process of starting the work on sewage treatment plant (STP) at Goraya. Sharma also interacted with the general public and enquired about the services being provided by the administration at these offices. Sharma also conducted inspection at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) office, Tehsildar Office, Municipal Council office, fard kendra, treasury office, Block Development and Panchayat Officer office and others in Phillaur. The DC also asked the officers to accord top priority to the works of general public visiting their offices. He said such inspections would be carried in future for benefitting the general public..
