Jalandhar: The Vigilance Bureau (VB) today nabbed an Assistant Sub- Inspector (ASI) and a Head Constable (HC) red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 20000. Jalandhar VB Senior Superintendent of Police Jalandhar Daljinder Singh Dhillon said ASI Parmod Kumar and HC Sumanjeet Singh were arrested on the complaint of Kush Kumar. He said the complainant had approached the VB and alleged that the ASI was demanding Rs 20000 to release his car seized by the police despite the court orders.
