Regularisation of staff sought by Punjab State Subordinate Services Union

Tribune News ServiceJalandhar, November 5A state convention of the Punjab State Subordinate Services Union, under Kulwant Singh Gill, state president, was held at the Desh Bhagat Yadgaar Hall here today. At the convention, state general secretary Sukhdev Singh Saini, presented a resolution as per which he presented the demands and problems of the employees. In the resolution passed on the occasion, it was demanded that the state government should make regular recruitment on vacant posts. He said farmers were committing suicide, while the Punjab Government wasn’t even paying salaries to its employees on time. They also demanded that the services of employees recruited in various projects and schemes on a contractual basis should be regularised, adding that that the Act recommending the regularisation of services of 27,000 employees be implemented in the state..
