After joining Civis Service in 2019, he decided to resign and enter the political arena and formed a Politics Tanjim called Jammu & Kashmir People`s Movement.
Faisal was taken into custody on 14 August 2019 while going abroad at Delhi airport on 5 August 2019 after Special State status was abolished from Jammu and Kashmir.
