Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU May 5: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr Raghav Langer today reviewed the working of Triage facility at Chest Diseases Hospital including admissions/ referral to Government Medical College and Covid designated hospitals at a meeting held at GMC -Jammu. The Divisional Commissioner took a thorough review of the immediate issues related to the management of Covid-19 positive patients functioning of Covid triage facility at CD Hospital Jammu and referral of patients to GMC and other designated Covid hospitals etc. The Divisional Commissioner emphasized that Triage points should have all the details of bed occupancy and availability in GMC and associated hospitals. It was informed in the meeting that orders have already been issued regarding the segregation of positive patients with all Covid positive deliveries and dialysis to be done in Gandhi Nagar Hospital old block. While discussing the shifting of covid patients to designated covid hospitals it was decided that more ambulances in addition to 108 be deployed for their hassle free transportation..
