Gupta demanded that Govt should extend the date of registration as many people could not apply due to Covid restrictions on-line registration problem and some other reasons. Gupta said the link for online registration jkmigrantrelief.nic.in was released on July 26 2020 that is 70 days after the issuance of Govt order. In the absence of nationwide publicity DPs settled in states like Maharashtra West Bengal Bihar UP Karnataka Rajasthan etc could not know about this opportunity.
