Excelsior CorrespondentSRINAGAR June 15: Officers of different batches of Jammu and Kashmir Police Services (JKPS) today called on Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh at Police Headquarters here. During his interaction with the officers the DGP J&K said that the police as well as civil administration have been working for finding solutions to various issues of the J&K Police. The DGP impressed upon the officers to work with more zeal and dedication at their respective places of postings. He said that Departmental Promotion Committees have been holding their meetings regularly and hundreds of officers/personnel in different ranks have been promoted and during the current year 3758 personnel in different ranks have been promoted. The DGP said that recently 389 personnel of different ranks were converted into Ministerial/Steno Cadre after they qualified departmental written examination and skill tests..
