"We have provided adequate security to the team for their journey," DSP (CCR) Sudhir Kumar said.Sami, a resident of Dhatkidih under Bistupur police station area, was arrested by Delhi Police from Mewat in Haryana on January 19, 2016, for his alleged links with al-Qaida Indian Subcontinent operative, Abdul Rahman Cuttacki, who was arrested the Delhi Police in December 2015. JAMSHEDPUR: Suspected al-Qaida operative Mohamed Abul Sami was in the city for a night on Friday before Delhi Police sleuths took him back to Tihar jail on Saturday.A special task force ( STF ) team of Delhi Police brought Sami to the Steel City to produce him before a local court on Friday in connection to a case lodged against him at Bistupur police station under the explosives and arms act.However, he could not reach the court on time and attend the hearing because Jammu Tawi-Tatanagar express, on which Sami and the STF team travelled, arrived here several hours behind its schedule.The court will hear the case next on October 25..
