RANCHI: Ranchi University (RU) has been organising job fairs in its affiliated colleges to help students get campus placements. "We are organising job fairs at college campuses for the postgraduate students who do not wish to pursue PhD. Some of the colleges, including Marwari College , Ranchi College and Ranchi Women's College, have begun the process of organising such fairs.Some of the companies that have camped at the campus of Marwari College include Concentrix, State Bank of India, UTI Micro Finance , Premson, Mumbai Stock Exchange. In the absence of a placement coordinator it is not possible for us to orgainse such fairs on the varsity premises. This recruitment drive is primarily meant for students of 2016-17 batch of BA, BBA, BCA, IT, MCA, MA and M Com streams.In the absence of a placement coordinator in Ranchi University, colleges have to make do with their own placement drives..
