Justice Mehta was hearing the plea after Justice Sangeet Lodha refused to hear the plea on Monday.In his bail application, Asaram had claimed that his wife Laxmi Devi was seriously ill and had been admitted in the hospital. Since he has been in jail for past five years continuously, he should be granted bail to attend to his wife.
