Rajasthan governor asks for security to be tightened at Raj Bhawan

These stolen guns were out of nine such guns decorated on walls of the hall of the Raj Bhawan. During summers, the governor usually stays here and the entire activities of Raj Bhawan, during this period, functions from here. It may be recalled that seven British era guns mounted on wall as decorative pieces were stolen by unidentified persons on Saturday night. But it was in June 2015, when governor Singh had stayed here and the Raj Bhawan remained isolated for the successive summers since then.According to sources, because of this scarce utility of the Raj Bhawan, there was just a staff of three members comprising a guard, a gardener and a sweeper..
