JODHPUR: Newly constructed Central Reserve Police Force CRPF ) training centre in Jodhpur was inaugurated by Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday. Adequate rail connectivity of Jodhpur with different corners of the country has also been instrumental in establishment of this centre in Jodhpur. The centre has however, been functioning in its temporary facility in Suratgarh since September 2014, where so far 5,439 recruits have completed training. According to an official, the building has been handed over to CRPF and soon the training facility will be shifted to this campus from Suratgarh. By this account, we would be training 1,620 recruits per year,” said an official adding that the centre also has family quarters to accommodate the families of the recruits..
