KANPUR: A 20-year-old girl, UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2018 aspirant, was killed while one other was injured after the two-wheeler she was riding was hit from behind by a truck near Dahi Chowki under the limits of Kotwali police station in Unnao distict on Tuesday morning. Her uncle, who suffered serious injuries has been admitted to district hospital,” the Dahi Police out-post incharge said.The body was shifted to mortuary for post-mortem examination and a case under relevant sections was lodged against the unidentified driver of the truck. The police have booked a case against the truck driver, who managed to flee the spot after the mishap.The aspirant was identified as Ruchi Singh, a resident of Sarai Gopi locality in Barabanki district , said Haseeb Ahmad, Dahi police out-post incharge.“The girl, along with her uncle Mahesh Kumar was on way to Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan Post Graduate college located in Kotwali police area to take part in UP police constable recruitment examination on the two-wheeler from their native place in Barabanki when a speeding truck hit their vehicle from behind near Dharamkanta in Dahi Chowki area of Unnao killing her on the spot..
