Rs 17 crore to be used to tap all nullahs flowing into Ganga

KANPUR: District magistrate Kanpur Nagar Vijay Vishwas Pant , on Thursday, said fund of Rs 17 crore had been given to Jal Nigam by the state government and it would be used to tap all the nullahs discharging their effluent in river Ganga. He said the number of pumps should be enhanced and second pump should be ignited if flow of tannry discharge increases.He also inspected Sheetala Bazar pumping station and Wazidpur CETP.
