In memory of Atal, Rs 5 cr for Centre of Excellence in DAV

Kanpur : The Yogi government, on Thursday, allocated a sum of Rs 5 crore to set up a Centre of Excellence in Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College in memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who studied here once. He said that the provision of Rs 600 crore for implementation of Infrastructure and Industrial Investment Policy-2012 is good. Industrial city deserves to have its own metro service.”A provision of Rs 357 crore has also been made for Rural Institute of Medical Sciences in Saifai. “But government should have allocated more in the MSME Enterprises Promotion Policy-2017,” he added.The government made a provision of Rs 175 crore each for Kanpur Metro and Agra Metro Rail projects..
