KANPUR: A driver and an attendant were killed after a DCM truck rammed a truck on Sachendi-Ramadevi highway in Panki area of the city on late Tuesday night.The deceased driver is yet to be identified. Drivre Rahul and the attendant Bhupendra got off the truck to replace the tyre. The attendant of truck was identified as Bhupendra (38) of Noida.“Their truck reached near Panki Gas plant on Sachendi-Ramadevi highway when one of its tyres got punctured. Bhupendra sustained serious injuries and succumbed on way to hospital while the DCM driver died on the spot,” said SHO Panki Ajay Pratap Singh.The damaged vehicles, were removed within in 45 minutes and the traffic was resumed, said the police.
