KANNUR: A CPM worker from Uppala in Kasaragod, identified as Aboobaker Siddhique (23), was stabbed to death, allegedly by a gang of BJP-RSS workers, apparently after he questioned the sales of liquor smuggled from Karnataka. Though he was immediately rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru by the local residents, his life could not be saved. However, considering the political affiliation of the deceased and the killer gang, political angle to the murder is also being probed, he said.
