KOCHI: Making the flood situation in Kerala more worse, The Kerala State Electricity Board ( KSEB ) has stopped power generation from Idamalayar dam since Wednesday afternoon.The KSEB has been forced to stop power generation after the turbines of its generators got damaged.Now, the water is spilling over the brims of the dam and this can’t be allowed for long. For this, KSEB will have to first drain out water inside the tunnel. The KSEB will have to inspect the possibilities of rock from inside the tunnel breaking off and got stuck in the turbine. Rocks or tree planks may have got inside the tunnel. The officials are learnt to be waiting for the government nod for conducting the inspection..
