Summary:

The floods literally broke down religious barriers in parts of the state, with two groups of Muslim youths cleaning up two temples in Wayanad and Malappuram on Monday. A team of youths from Mukkam cleaned the temple after they offered themselves for relief works.“We were asked if we can help in cleaning up the nearby temple. We believe that we will be answerable to God on what we did during testing times like the current floods. Then, with a bit of hesitation, they asked if we can help in cleaning up the nearby temple. The temple was filled with mud and silt.“We left for Wayanad to aid rescue and relief works on Monday morning..
