KOCHI: A science workshop organized by an aided school in Angamaly went awry when a working volcano model exploded injuring 59 students and a teacher at the school ground on Saturday. Hospital authorities said Class X student Kasinath sustained a deep injury on his forearm, while Class VI student Abdul Rehman got injured in the eye. Two students were admitted to a private hospital, the rest, who sustained minor injuries, were discharged after treatment.
