MG University to get five new schools of learning

more-inThe government has given in-principle approval to start five new schools of learning in traditional and emerging areas at Mahatma Gandhi University by 2019. It include School of Economics, School of Hindi, School of Nanoscience and Technology, School of Energy Materials, and School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Besides the five that have received the government nod, the other new centres recommended included School of Geology, School of Commerce, School of Mathematical Science, School of Theatre and Writing, and School of Psychology. The varsity, which was established in 1983, has only 18 schools of learning. It had taken into account studies and assessments that indicated the increasing demand for trained professionals, especially in areas like Nano science, Energy Materials, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics..
