Trupti Desai to visit Sabarimala temple between November 16 and 20

Already, we have been receiving threats, with some people warning us of dire consequences if we enter Kerala. Others threatened to commit suicide if we went to the temple,” she said. A copy of the letter would also be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Maharashtra chief minister.“Several women tried to enter the temple and failed as they didn’t get adequate police protection and support. We are requesting Kerala government and police to provide us security and ensure smooth darshan at the temple,” said Desai.After Supreme Court started hearing PIL to allow female devotees in the age group of 10-50 to the Sabarimala temple, Bhumata Brigade had been sending communication to Travancore Devaswom Board to permit women entry..
