Prohibitory orders at hill shrine extended till Wednesday

The extended order, which otherwise would have come to a close by Saturday midnight, will now be in force till Wednesday midnight. Meanwhile, a meeting of the high court-appointed three-member team of observers was held in Kochi. As per the figures of the police, 85,126 devotees visited the temple from 8am on Friday till 8am on Saturday.This marks the record figure for the season as the previous record was 79,306 on December 3.
