KOZHIKODE: The Puthiyapalam to Nellikkapuli bridge stretch of the Conolly canal on Sunday witnessed intensive cleaning work. Around thousand volunteers of SKSSF state committee’s voluntary wing 'Viqaya' and Kozhikode corporation carried out a dawn to noon mass cleaning drive.Corporation's health officials and councillors supervised the cleaning work. The canal cleaning was conducted using boats. The cleaning work was conducted by dividing the volunteers into many batches.
