Though it was expected that Metro’s civil works from Maharaja’s College to Thykoodam will be completed by December 2018, the deluge in August brought the work to a halt. By mid-January, Metro viaduct will cross Vyttila Junction,” said DMRC spokesperson. The joint venture between Cherian Varkey Construction Company and Vijay Nirman Constructions (CVCC & VNC) are carrying out the construction works along the stretch.“Opening of the Metro rail from Maharaja’s College to Vyttila is expected to decongest the city. It is also expected to bring down the air levels of pollution at Vyttila Junction..
