Activists condemn delay in Pansare murder probe, warn of agitation

More than 25 agitators, including Pansare’s wife Uma Pansare , were detained by police from the spot and were later released.Addressing the gathering, Uma Pansare said, “Three years have passed since Pansare fell to the bullets of unidentified persons. Pawar, along with Akolkar, had met one of the witnesses to get training to prepare weapons on the direction of Tawade. Police on September 15, 2015 arrested Sameer Gaikwad in connection with the case and filed chargesheet against him on December 14, 2015. Rationalists Narendra Dabholkar and M M Kalburgi were also killed in a similar fashion in Pune and Dharwad, respectively.
